However, do note that it can get the “updated” status without actually having to write original content. You can just revisit your old posts and update them and you will get the status.

Look at all of the written content that you’ve made in the past year and repackage them into one article. For instance, you could create an “Ultimate Guide” or a “Top 10 List” or something like that.

That can be a good or bad thing. It can be a bad thing because they’re going to be your competitors. However, it can also be a good thing because you can actually establish solid and lasting relationships with them.

You can do this by creating an aggregate article where you make a list of handy topics and then provide the appropriate outbound links to these topics.

By doing so, you can build relationships with other websites in your niche and they, too, will return the favour as well.

From time to time, we create topics that are too broad and although there’s nothing wrong with it, it might not be in-depth enough to provide information that a person might need.
