SONY NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT 2008
Sony Nature Photography Project is an annual community event organized by Sony Malaysia supported by its project partners, Ministry of Education, Malaysian Nature Society and CLICK! Magazine since 2005. The main objective of this project is to spread awareness of nature conservation through photography. This is a project that also serves as an educational platform for students to acquire basic photography skills through fun activities that encourage student participants.
‘Living with Nature’ the theme for this Sony Nature project has become a signature project by Sony Malaysia and has attracted students from all over the country every year.
For this year, Sony Malaysia has adopted a fresh approach by combining the annual photography contest with the student’s nature camp. By doing so, Sony Malaysia and its project partners will provide an even more comprehensive learning experience for the students.
Sony Malaysia would like to invite students aged between 13~19 years of age, to participate in this year’s Sony Nature Photography Project.
There are 2-stages to this year’s participation:
Stage One:Students must win a chance to participate in the 4-day & 3-night nature camp in Langkawi.
Stage Two:Selected students will attend the 4-day & 3-night nature camp in Langkawi and must work as a team to win the nature camp’s photography contests.
Activities at the camp include sight-seeing, educational photography lessons, games and nature conservation photography contest based on student projects.
